Located in the Shebedino District of the Sidama Zone, Ethiopia, Telamo joined SCFCU to gain access to the local and international markets through a transparent organization. In addition, Telamo receives financial and technical support to improve farming and technical processes. Located at 1800 – 1900 meters above sea level, all coffee is organic and fair trade; varietals are arabica – heirloom. Telamo has 4000 members, and farmers and staff work together to deliver a high quality coffee. Coop Coffees buys natural (unwashed) coffee.
