Fero Cooperative

Located in the Wonsho District of the Sidama Zone, Ethiopia, Fero Cooperative was established in 1975 and reorganized in 1998. It joined SCFCU in 2005 and is not only its largest but also its most productive and successful member. Located at 1800 – 1900 meters above sea level, all coffee is organic and fair trade; varietals are arabica – heirloom. Fero provides excellent technical and processing support to its members. In August 2016, Fero hosted a very informative quality workshop with Cooperative Coffees continuing to strengthen our relationship with members of SCFCU.
